After the paint has dried, apply a clear coat to protect the surface and restore gloss. Three light coats outperform a single heavy one. Let the clear coat harden for a full day in a clean, controlled space. Finally, polish the repaired area with a fine compound and a microfiber cloth to harmonize the finish across the panel.

Ongoing care including cleaning and sealant application will help preserve the finish. Keep in mind that while self-done restoration can look professional, structural compromises should be handled by specialists to guarantee OEM-level alignment and performance. With meticulous technique and patience, you can bring it back to showroom quality.
